Stretch the Imagination is an educational facility that teaches art, yoga and music as a way to facilitate learning and creativity. We strive to create a nurturing and safe environment where children are free to explore and discover collaboratively. We believe in the ability of each child and the importance of honoring their individual styles of learning. Our program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of Italy, the importance of play-based learning and the benefits of art, movement and music.

Preschool Options Starting Fall 2010
We are very excited to announce that we will offer full preschool options for children starting this fall 2010! This program takes inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach to learning and follows a curriculum based on the children's interest as well as in depth project work throughout the year. Our educators have deep experience in early education and work to nurture your child's curiosity and innate desire to learn and make sense of the world around them. Our program seeks to make critical connections between home, school and the community by encouraging parent involvement, field trips and partcipation in community events. The preschool program is a full year commitment and offers a three, four and five day option depending on age of your child. For information on the benefits of our preschool link here. Your child will enjoy our spacious studio where they can safely explore art, sensory exploration and much more. There is no teacher lead activity during this period and is open only to ages 6mo -20 mo. We are limited to 20 children so we admit families on a first come, first serve basis.
