A Day in the Life

No two days at Stretch are exactly the same as we travel down many different and unique pathways of learning with the children at any given moment. Along with providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students, we value the importance of giving them time to get fully immersed in their explorations. If a child is elbow deep in clay or fully absorbed in their dramatic play, we allow them the time to see these experiences through and honor the connections they are making.

In addition to this open-ended exploration, there are set occurrences throughout the day that are consistent for the children. These times include: morning meeting/circle time, outside time, snack, music, and small group work.
